What is the Hospitality Insider Exchange?
The Hospitality Insider Exchange is an exciting event where you can meet industry professionals, learn about career opportunities, and gain valuable insights as you prepare for your first Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) placement.
When and Where Will This Event Take Place?
This year’s event will take place on March 23rd, 2026 from 12:00 pm-4:00 pm at the Paterson GlobalFoods Institute (504 Main Street, Winnipeg).
Who Will Be Attending?
Industry professionals, employers, and alumni will be attending alongside Hospitality Business Management, Culinary Arts, Professional Baking, and Indigenous Culinary Skills students.
Is This Event Mandatory for Students?
This event is mandatory for all PGI Campus students.
How Can I Register?
Registration can be completed through the Register Now button on the website header.
Do I Have to Pay to Register?
The event is completely free for students!
What Should I Wear?
Culinary Arts, Indigenous Culinary Skills, and Professional Baking students should arrive in chef whites. Hospitality Business Management students should arrive in business casual.
Should I Bring My Resume?
This is first and foremost a networking event. Bring your professionalism and smiles, but leave the resume behind!
Can I Ask Employers About Job Opportunities?
Absolutely! This event is designed to help you learn about career opportunities and explore potential WIL placements. Don’t hesitate to ask about positions and what they look for in candidates.
